I've been able to feel and see the kittens move in my cats belly for about a week, it was slight at first, but now they're moving like crazy. Recently she's been doing this weird thing where she'll stretch all the way out and roll over onto her back. Is that normal? And every time the kittens kick, she kind of twitches...

Also...she has really really dry nipples, should I be worried about that?

This is my first experience with a pregnant cat and even though I've done research, I'm still not 100% sure about everything.

Most of our forumites are inexperienced first-timers, as we do recommend spaying...  Luck there are others more experienced or more readed on, who step in and helps with advices.   :)

Besides, if you the owner dont worry, who would worry?  You must do it in first hand.   :)

Cat moms get often milk first very lately, even a couple of hours after delivery.  Them never getting milk is hovewer verry unusal.  So be prepared but dont be anxious.

There are others, more frequent reasons where the owner must step in to give extra bottle.  Which happens now and then yes.

If the DRY nipples worry you, you can have some good rate ("cold pressed virgin oil") olive oil on them, cant hurt.

This with streching herself  may be she needs some streching, but otherwise, streching and roll over is usually tokens of friendship!

My guess is, she being high preg is extra affectionate to you now, and thus, shows her frendship extra much to you!

Good luck!

I'm definitely getting her spayed after the kittens are weaned, I just didn't feel right with getting them aborted.

Do you think she's almost through her pregnancy since I've been able to feel them move for a week?

Its about one week left, "measured with a thumb".

Good luck!
