All TCS members have an exciting opportunity to participate in a 2 week forum on Feline Genetics. The forum will be guest-hosted by Dr. Elizabeth Oltenacu an Animal Science Professor at Cornell University. Dr. Oltenacu received her Ph.D from the University of Minnesota.

We need a show of hands of anyone interested in participating in this, as the details are being ironed out in the next week or so-

I think it would be great to find out how genetics works with felines. Plus, since this place is so wonderful on the Education of Cats, it would be a great thing to have...even if it is temperary.

Count me in!

I'm very interested. I know genetics from a human standpoint, but not a feline standpoint. I'd love to learn more.

I'd be interested. . . . . even though I know very little. . . I am surrounded by it at work. . . . I might learn something new.

I'm definitely interested. Stuff like, what traits are genetically programmed, like behaviour, instinct stuff, as well as the usual apprearance things that we think of connected to genetics.
