I have to admit that when I first started to read the story, my first thought was that they should have euthanized the poor kitten.  But when I got to the end and saw that she was able to eat and drink on her own now, I'm glad that they didn't. She sounds like she has a very loving home.

What a horrid ordeal that little girl went through.  I can't imagine the pain of her being pecked at and eaten literally alive.

I found the woman's Instagram account. There are a couple of pictures of the kitten's mouth, early on. with a hole at the inside back of her mouth. I guess the tube feeding was to avoid aspiration through that hole. More current pictures are of a darling, bright-eyed, active little kitten exploring her world. All's well that ends well.

As a corvid-lover (see username), I completely misread the subject line:  "Kitten Rescued from Attack by Crow" to mean that a crow rescued the kitten from an attack.  I was pretty excited!  I was sorry to read that instead of being Kitten + rescued + from attack + by crow, it was really Kitten + rescued + from attack by crow, and that the almost-death was so traumatizing.

I'm very glad to see the kitten is doing well now.

What a wonderful story! Poor baby had a rough start. So glad someone saved kitty and took such good care. Loved the kitty's fashion outfits. Lol!
