It's been confirmed that Cory Monteith, who starred in the TV show "Glee" died from a combination drug/alcohol overdose.  Heroine and alcohol.

So sad. So young. What a wasted life.

That's so sad :(  I'm a total Gleek.  I was most sad for Lea and his family.  Wasted life indeed.  But he admitted that he's been a substance abuser since he was 13.  Guess he couldn't handle all the pressure of fame.  Sucks, considering that he was so well loved and supported by his friends, family, and his girlfriend.

I wonder what Glee will do with his story line -- if they will kill his character off in the show, or just phase him out by either not mentioning his whereabouts or by simply saying he's moved away to be a teacher or something.  Definitely not going to be an easy task for the writers.

I watched Glee until they graduated 1/2 of the cast, and then shipped them off all over the place only to have them keep returning to their high school and the Glee Club.  I thought it was stupid. Plus I didn't take much to the replacement cast. It just lost its luster for me.

The first time I saw Glee, I thought, "how cheesy". Then I realized that they were really good singers, so I enjoyed it for that reason. Lea Michelle is my favorite star on the show, and I feel sad for her to lose her boyfriend and then have to bring that emotion to a performance onscreen. Poor thing. Losing someone is always so hard.

Such a sad story -- a talented, handsome young man. Just wonder how they get involved in all of this - I guess it's just the fast life style that they live. Don't you wonder how many young people would still be alive today if they weren't in the fast lane of show business. Example (and I'm dating myself) - Elvis Presley.

Very sad indeed. It will be interesting to see how the show deals with this in the story line.
