This is the first forum I've ever joined so I don't really have a clue!I'm mum to Pickle, a black tabby who I think may be long or medium haired, possibly a Ragdoll cross as he has a tendency to 'flop' when I pick him up sometimes. I don't know much about his first few weeks of life as he was found by a friend of a friend as a stray at around 8 weeks old in Bermondsey, London, under a railway arch. He's now around 14 weeks old and thriving although he's still a scavenger at heart and will often drink out of the bath when I'm in it or out of the kitchen tap; he is fascinated by water of any kind. He has also recently taken to stealing his own food from the worktop, dragging the bag to the floor with his teeth and biting a hole in the bag to get to the food! I guess he will always have this trait because of his 'time on the streets' even though he is fed regularly now and has fresh chicken every day.I have recently taken to training him with a small spray bottle (one of those mini travel cosmetic ones) when he is being boisterous (ie biting my feet in bed at night) and refuses to acknowledge 'NO!' So far it's working and he only bites my partners toes now!As we live in an apartment he is mostly an indoor cat but he does like a wander out on the balcony and chases cars/people as best he can from the height. We have an apartment full of kitten toys yet he prefers his shoe box and snuggles up to an old cushion which he suckles when he's sleepy - very cute Anyway, I'm Jo and I live in Kent, England. Nice to meet you all x
