I'm assuming since they have muscles, they can. Sam has taken to a new sleeping spot that is higher than anywhere he has slept before. Not overly, but he has to jump onto the couch and then onto a ledge to get up there. He's been doing that about a week now.

I noticed today he slept a LOT of a the day away. Doesn't seem lethargic per say, just... Tired. Eating and litter box habits normal. Is it possible he's experiencing some sore muscles? He doesn't hesitate to get up there every day still.. Who knows what really goes on with our kitties. ;)

Forgot to mention he isn't walking around the house as much and when he does its a little slower. Layed down most of the day... Alert a lot of the time but laying down.

If he's laying down more than usual, sitting off balance and not walking around as much I would call the vet just to be on the safe side.

He's a cute little guy
