Serena had one very healthy kitten today at 4ish its now 2:30 In the morning and there are no more kittens she is calm and cool completely

cleaned her self and the baby has ate drank and used  the litter box seems very happy and content with her new baby but I can defiantly still

feel the kittens moving in there I have to go to sleep soon and don't want to miss the rest of the births but she doesn't seem like she's going

back in to labor anytime soon !  has anyone else had a cat with such a long pause between kittens ?

As I simultaneously wrote in your other thread.  Is she seems OK, happy, contend etc; you dont need to worry too much. Observe closely of course, but you can await with rushing to the vet.

Pauses are not unusual, several hours, or even days.

But if she seems to be in distress; double the watches, contact your vet, and be ready to rush in.

Good luck!

I was just going to write: with a white kitten, if you arent on your watch and verry careful, he may turn into a point "masqued", (often in about one week, sometimes a little later).

But on the pic I do see the mom is herself a point  :)

So the dad was either a point > all the kittens will be pointed

or a carrier > half the kittens will be pointed.

Good luck!

I have heard of cats having a pause of 36 hours! As Stefan says, so long as she seems fine and relaxed I would not worry much yet but I sure would keep an eye on her.
If she would start labor again and start straining hard and then stop, then you should contact the vet.

and if they are not here by tomorrow AM I would call a vet anyway . (and you might want to do that if nothing has happened by 24 hours after the first one. Different people have different thoughts on that.)

But it's now been 8 hours since you posted last, so she might have had the rest by now .

Yeah I bet that is a little pointed kitten. Watch those points. Sometimes you can see the color start on the edges of the ears very early in a seal point. even at 1 day.

yesterday at about 5 pm serena gave birth to the remaining two kittens they were large and loud very healthy and came back to back the first kitten she had didn't make it I believe to no fault of his own her milk didn't come in at all until yesterday after his 24 hr mark I started bottle feeding but he passed away in the night  on the 16th  she is very content and doing great with her two big bundles of joy I will post some pictures later when I get home

Glad she and the 2 babies are doing fine! I take it these 2 are nursing OK now?
Sorry about the poor little polar bear.
I would always start feeding formula long before 24 hours if the queen doesnt have milk come in. Newborn kittens can get hypoglycemia if they don't get fed every few hours. but maybe you did not realize she did not have milk ?
It may also be he was premature. and just by a couple days can make a big difference to survival chances.

I agree with Maewkaew.

Im shocked hearing about the first one, and the milk coming firstly after 24 hours...

THAT late is verry unusual, so I suspect he was a little premature, like Maew does.  And thus mom not really ready yet.

He could probably be saved by a  vigorous action in time, but one can never know. Prematures are always an uphill fight.   RIP  little one.

Are the others also white, ie pointed?

Good luck!
