I almost adopted another kitty today! A beautiful fluffy orange/white senior kitty named Barney. A fluffy version of Abby! lol
The vet has a beautiful boy aged 15 years, up for adoption. Actually more like fostering since whomever adopts him will not have to pay for food, litter or medical bills for the rest of his life as the vet clinic will cover all costs associated with him.
One of the vets family members had to relinquish him as they could no longer care for him.
I saw him and he doesn't look more than 10 years old, so he was obviously well cared for and very much loved.
Had I not had 3 cats already, and living in an apartment, I would have brought him home in a heartbeat! I think he might be adopted by one of the vet techs. She moved in with her boyfriend and had to leave her cats with her parents, and like me, she said that she can't live in a home without a cat. She's going on vacation and will make her decision when she gets back. Lucky her and lucky Barney!
