I have two six year old cats. They are brothers and were both from the local SPCA
This is Oscar.
Oscar was named after Peter Jackson's Oscar Award that he brought to my school when I was twelve. He has a cool tail, it lies across his back. He is the most cuddly cat I have ever seen and he will stretch up my leg so that I pick him up. Then he will sit like a baby and tuck his head under my chin and he will let me carry him around like this for hours. When he was a kitten he used to climb up my leg. To stop him, I would just carry him round. I think this may be why he is so cuddly. He follows me round, sits on my laptop, watches tv with me, interrupts my study, follows me down the street to the shop. He is just a super friendly cat.
This is Mario.
Mario was named after Super Mario Bros nintendo game character. He is really laid back. He loves to sit in his basket on the table. He got into the habit of catching three or four birds a day so now he has a bell so he runs around jingling. He started off as my brothers cat but my brother was really not nice to him and Mario was scared of people. My brother went away to boarding school and I trained Mario by handling him a lot and cuddling him and now he doesn't mind people and being carried around like Oscar. He talks in his sleep and his paws twitch which is really funny. He must be dreaming. He likes to sit up high so he can see the world. Mario also likes to come in the shower. He is so lovely and gentle.
I know some people won't agree with how I have raised them like babies but it hasn't harmed them and they are always purring so I see no danger in it.
