Hi, i'm new to the site. kali is about 2 and very pregnant. I'm really just impatient at this point but they could be here any day.
She's a long hair "tortaco" and he's a long hair black Tom cat
Her picture is my avatar! Let me know what y'all think! :)

they can look like anything! Some could look like Mom, some could be completely different than the parents. That's the fun part of domestics, you never know what you'd get.

Also.. any plans on spaying/neutering them?

The kittens will all be longhaired; it's a recessive gene. Torties have the widest range of color possibilities for their kittens, so they can be any color, depending what genes the parent cats carry. Except there won't be any red females, because females need to get a red gene from each parent to be red. Boys get their coloring from their mother, but since she has both colors there's no way to guess.

Males: Red ( appears as Red Tabby ) , Black, either of those plus white.

either of those plus white

Females: Black , Tortie, Black and White, Tortie and White / Calico

If both parents carry dilute you could get cream or blue boys, blue-cream (dilute tortie) or blue girls.... or any of those plus white .

If that is the only father of the litter, you won't get brown tabbies or blue tabbies. Tabby markings usually show up in red-based color whether or not they get the extra "Agouti" gene that makes a tabby pattern show distinctly in black-based color.

and as Willowy says if both parents are longhair, all kittens should be longhair.

Kali had 5 healthy kittens this morning.
2 calicos (1 torty) one orange tabby, and 2 black and white kittens. All have the same facial markings as mommy :)

Well, we can already say the torties are girls and the orange tabby is a boy :D. Let us know what gender the black and whites are!
