As I understand from your description, there is nothing especial alarming, even if not everthing is perfect.

Although I ask you to describe more exactly her condition, what is going on...

Re the eyelids.   Are you sure it is something sickly, like she doesnt manage light?

Are you sure it isnt this classic "I do love you" halfclosed eyes??

Also, I understand the vet wants you phone them at their normal opening hours, as it doesnt seem to be a immediate emergency.  Normal opening hours is also much cheaper for you.    :)

So THIS advice was very sound.

What I dont understand is, why they doesnt want to see her, when you do phone at their open hours, and want a vet see her?  That is the most normal to do, that is what they are for and make their money from.

Yes, a vet visit and check up in their office hours is what I do recommend here, as you do worry.  Right you are.

I will ask a mod to move this your post to our subforum for Pregnants.

You can henceafter  also report about her continuing Pregnancy, deliver and kitten care.

Good luck!

  Welcome to our Forums!

ps.  Please write with normal letters. It is easier to read.   :)

I'm so sorry about the capital letter thing i thought it would get noticed that little better, And i would like to thank you for your time and help in this matter, as i don't have a massive income i take her to the local PDSA, which is very busy but they are very good with all animals. Her eye lids have been slightly closed for about 2 days now and she has started a runny bottom for about the same time as the eye lid thing, and she has been sick quite a few time, she does eat but only very little she has been taking water but again very little to what she normal would have, She has been very lithargic sorry about spelling and shes not moving around like she does i was wondering if this was due to being pregnant. I have just been informed that a friend has finally got through to the PDSA and they will see her today at 10 to 11am so thats a relife for me ile keep you guys informed of how she is doing and how all the trip to the PDSA turns out, many thanks to you for answering my destresed message, Thank you again for your time and help all the best Prazinoski (Paul) in english.

Good you got visit time at this vet.  I agree with you, there seems to be some problems, so a vet visit & vet help is necessary yes.

Pregnant cats dont move as much, runny bottom doesnt need be nothing especial, and throwing up sometimes may also be normal, BUT  all together with what you write, there is a picture...

Not least this she is eating less than usual.

Let her room be rather dark, let her have it warmth and comfortable. No stressing...

Try to get her to drink as much you can, while you wait for the vet visit.

How long gone is her pregnancy?  Do you know when she got pregnant?  Do you feel her kittens move?

Has she been dewormed?  Part of her problems may be if she has worms...  Let the vet advice you here which dewormer to use.

Good luck!

Hi and thank you for the reply, she is due this week sometime, the vet said she is in very good health, and yes she has been de-wormed she has once a month treatments for that from the vets, The vet also explained to us that the sikness is a result of how pregnant she is at this time, and the runny bottom is becasue of how squashed up her tummy is due to being so heavily pregnant, She's just over 1 year in age, we got told of by the vets because we knowing that she wasn't spade and we let her out, But he did say that sometimes it can be quite a challenge to keep em in, But she is having kittens this week sometime and everything seems ok with her and her baby's and her and the kittens health as far as he can feel and tell, She got treatment for worming it was a liquid form due to her being pregnant so fingers crossed all goes ok for her.

Excellent!  *beaming*.   Congrats!

do you have a scale to weigh them every day?  A very useful gimmick.

If you can choose, use a scale measuring in grammes, and a electronical one.  They dont need to be fancy, you can buy or borrow one kitchen or mail scale.

Good luck!
