as the weather is lovely here I cant really be bothered to cook properly sooo....

whats your go to meal when its to hot to be bothered?

mine is salad with whatever is in the fridge open so tonight's was chicken I already had cooked and some cheese with different salad leaves

Salad, too, perhaps with something quick like an omelet, stir fry or soup.

I buy up chicken and steaks when they're on sale, marinade and freeze them.  So, when the weather is nice, I just pull one out, thaw and grill!  Of course, it's rained for a solid week here.  When we can't grill and it's too hot to cook much, we have salad and a make your own pizza night.  The kids love it!

We grill often during the summer, almost every night. A little bit of everything and anything. It's nice when we can do the whole meal on the grill. When I'm not working, I'll get up in the morning and make dinner then. Throw it in the fridge and, when it's time for dinner, take everything out of the fridge and throw it on the grill. I do a mean grilled stir-fry.

I've started to use my pressure cooker in the summer, too. I can make a great pot roast or beef stew in a little under an hour or so.

We also have a ton of stuff in the freezer. Pasta sauces, soups, chilis, etc. Anything that can be heated up quickly. We can nuke it in the microwave, nuke a couple yeast rolls or muffins, throw a quick salad together and we have dinner. I always have dough balls in the freezer, too; just take one out to thaw and make grilled pizza. No oven to heat up the kitchen.

My GF usually cooks a lite meal when it's really hot unless I want something specific but the heat hasn't been a factor here in the east so far..

Macaroni/manaze salad with peas, carrots, celery, cheese. Some times chicken if I have any. My mom use to put a can of small shimps. That was icky to me. Chicken works

A protein shake with all the added extras... and ice...

Definitely salads, but I also have a few meals in the freezer that I can pull out.
