I want to start giving my 9 month old cat Salmon oil for a shiny and healthy coat but I'm not sure which one should I get?

And can you recommend the daily dosage?

Thanks!

I would give a 9 month old cat the adult dose, 500mg per day.

I use the Pure Alaska Omega. It's not heat treated, which is important because fish oils are unstable in high heat, which is how many of the supplements are processed.

Here's information: http://www.alaskaproteinrecovery.com/salmonoil

They only come in 1,000mg capsules though. I don't know if you can give half and save half for the next day - or maybe you could just take the other half. ;)

I buy them on Amazon, but they're available at Costco, I believe.

Thank you!! Actually I have two cats so 1000mg will work great with us

Well, they don't tell us anything about it, but it has no other ingredients, so I see nothing wrong with it from that perspective (no lemon flavor, etc).
