Cat Cooling Mat for Hot Weather?

Does anyone know if someone sells a cooling type mat for cats to lay on in the hot weather?  I have 1 ac unit in my apartment but my cat still seems hot.  I asked Petco about it, but the had no clue what I was talking about.  Something my cat can lay on to make him feel cooler?  Thanks.

l did see some cooling mats for cats/dogs but they were being recalled for leaking their solution when the cat/dog clawed through them.

l have a friend in AZ who keeps their juice jugs and milk jugs and half fills them with water. They freeze them and put them on towels where the cats lie, and their cats actually lie against them to cool off.

We used to have one for our dog...I think it was by playapup.  But it was a gel mat that you submerge in cool water and it keeps the mat cool all day.  The gel inside of this one was non toxic.  I doubled checked on that one as I was worried about my girls claws poking through.  They came in several sizes, the smallest could work for a cat.
