I have a thread in Health & Nutrition about my kitten Grady who got very sick. He's also very dirty after spending the night in the ER and getting poked and prodded (not to mention having diarrhea like whoa.) His temperature has to be monitored so should I wait to wash him?

Please don't wash him right now. Instead of getting him wet, apply some cornstarch to his rear end and start combing him out gently. He really does not need any more stress in his life, and kittens who get damp and wet catch cold easily.

Thanks for your replies. The vitamin liquid the vet gave me smells awful and it's all over his face

I'll just wipe him off for now and be more careful about the vitamin stuff. It really smells terrible!
