For those of you with Macintosh computers out there I would like to know how to put a birthday, congratulations or other fun pics in my signature for that one special occassion instead of always having to upload a pic? Also, could you please tell me where I can learn about the kind of code that is used on this site, the vB code?

All help is appreciated and very much needed, thanks in advance!

Hello Skykitty - I am happy to report that linking graphics works the same way on the Mac and PC. To post a fun graphic without attaching a file to your post, you need to upload it to a web site for storage...like Image station, for example. OR, I use my own web site to link my graphics. (Does the same thing) The graphics need to be stored on the Internet verses your hard drive to do this.

Here's what the code looks like when you type the information into you reply box:

You don't have to type in the code for the tags, you can use the buttons above your reply window:

If you put the graphic in your signature it will show up in all of your posts instead of individual posts - you don't want to do that do you? If you do, you type the address in where you have your current siggy...

I hope this was helpful and not too far off base...

Thank you very much Kim, but I'm still having trouble finishing my website on Geocites. I got through the first part just fine, then when I went to the second part an ERROR came up saying: Warning you are using a Macintosh and this tool probably won't work but some Macintosh users have had success so best of luck and give it a try. So I gave it a try and it didn't work for me. Also, yahoo won't let me upload GIFS just JPGs. So, I'm stuck with a unfinished website.

How would I center say a short poem on the site or is centering at all possible? What about Font...the fonts listed aren't particularly the one that I would want to use can I use another such as Comic Sans MS?

as far as websites is concerned you might try going to blogger.com and create your website there they help create and host this. blogger is just another term for personal website.

Well still no luck at finishing my website, thanks for the help.

I do have another Mac question, is anyone using the new Safari Browser and if so are you having troubles with it on this site?

Mine for some reason keeps on crashing when I come to TCS, was just wondering if anyone was experiencing the same problems.

Thanks
