A milestone of sorts :)   We've moved them to this large dog kennel I had.  At first, we still locked them up in their small cat crate at nights in the kennel, but they've been spending daytimes w/ free reign in the kennel with no problems; they've actually gotten used to it.  We have 2 heated spots in the kennel should they get cold (one is under this arch).  Last night, after feeding, they were all snuggled up nicely under the arch, that I couldn't bring myself to wake them and lock them in the smaller crate.  So I left them out all night and no problems at all :)

We're already litterbox training; just getting them exposed to it and putting them in there and stimulating their genitals so they pee in the box just so they know that's what they do.  Sometimes, they crawl in there and go by themselves (Leo was the first to crawl in and pee the other day, and today, he was the first to crawling and lay down one big turd  LOL!!!)

Leo is 1lb 2 oz.  Blue (his twin) and Jack are 15 oz.  Woohoo!

Thanks, Mew :)

We are guessing they were born on June 11 or 12.  Most likely the 12th.  The mom is feral, and this might be her first litter.  When we found them, eyes were closed, ears flat, dried up umbilical cord still attached.  She didn't seem to be able to care for all 5, as she kept leaving behind 2 or 3 at a time (we tried 2 or 3 times to get her to take them, but she kept on leaving some behind). We tried to trap her twice, but she learned to escape the trap!  The trap we borrowed doesn't auto-lock.  She learned to lift up the door and get out.  She had at least 5 that we saw, we were able to take in 4, but 1 died of pneumonia from aspiration (he was the runt).

They have nice soft fur, too :) I hope they don't; outgrow that.  My last cat had super soft fur his entire life.  But my friend's cat, also a tabby, had coarse fur.
