Mother cat attacking kittens

Need some advice please my cat jess keeps attacking her kittens who are 4 weeks old ,she will bite their face and jump on top then the next minute she is licking them is this normal for cats to do to their kittens

surprisingly, it is normal in many situations. A sort of harshly teaching them. Typically when they begin to be movable, and climb out from the nest. She loses control, gets nervous, and try to regain it.

In the wild it is of course very dangerous for such small kittens to go outside the nest, before they are at least decently movable and can run.

I suppose there is no blood or such after her bites?  So these bites are purely pedagogical, yes?

Perhaps see their whole room is closed, so the mom feels more safe, and feels their whole room is a sort of prolonged nest.  Two weeks, at least.

mummy cat hates it now the kittens are moving round,i did move them from the room they are in to the living room but she got really stressed out so had to put them back when can i get the mother cat done so there will b no more kittens i really dont want her being stressed again when she goes into heat
