Wednesday's DT

Welcome to hump day! I have been trying to get alot of work done today as I need 1/2 a day off tomorrow for more blood tests fro the fertility specialist. I at least get to sleep an extra hour (if the cats let me anyway). Made the hubby turn on the heat last night. I told him that if the house wasn't warm in the morning thenI wasn't getting out of bed and going to work. At least we have a programmable one. It heats up about 30 minutes before the alarm goes off and stays at 67 F until we leave. Then it drops to 61 during the day when no one is home, and goes up again to 67 F before we get home. It also goes down to 61 F overnight.

There is just too much TV on tonight. It is the Paradise Hotel finale (I'll have to tape that). I will watch Enterprise and the West Wing and also tape 1-800-Missing and the Bachelor. Why couldn't they put Paradise Hotel on last night - nothing was on!

Ohhh I hate the cold!

I got an email from my old primary (elementary) school crush - its the first time I have heard from him in about 8-10 years! It is so cool! Funnily enough, his name is Kelly.

Went to the gym and did a great workout, sweated lots!
Now I am hungry!

Off to make a coffee soon!

tonight its supposed to be about 24 degrees! second night with frost. and tonight is the big going away dinner party at work. one more day...

I am having a quiet evening, reading my book and doing some misc. internet searches that I've needed to do for awhile. Taking lots of breaks to play with the cat & dogs. Simba's helping me type this, so please excuse any typos...

I found out that my plans for this weekend are actually for the next weekend, so I unexpectedly have a weekend without any running coming up - yippee! I need to finish making some Halloween costumes I'm making for a niece and nephew, but that will be fun and relaxing and I get to stay home to do it.

Jellybelly, yes, sadly, I am being laid off after 7 years. not very long compared to others but when I first started in the telecom industry I thought for sure I would be retiring here. Friday is the day we have to turn in our badges and stuff. then its off to the unemployment line.

Ouch for this and ouch for the 24 degrees up there!!! I'm in telecom also and am crouching down real low for the next round of layoffs that start next week. Rumors are another 6000 going in the next year.

Another quiet day at work. My package, from Shell, arrived today. Along with my jacket, she sent some kitty toys. Buddy was afraid of one of them but, Rowdy thinks that "her" new box is just wonderful!

It is currently 102, at 5:45 p.m. The house has been so warm, even with the cooler, that I've been kicking off the covers every night. I will be thrilled to get into our mid-60s days.

i took the day off today, vac. day, my sister and i spent the day running around to the different shops, went out to lunch, then spent the rest of the day playing with her 4 furballs, it was a nice day, about 60 degrees, tonight about 32 burrrrrr, now im on here and its getting late and i have to get up early tomorrow and back to work BTW, i only bought myself 1 thing, i bought blackie and stripey 4 things

OMG I AM SO FULLLL!!

we had dinner at 6pm. we had Italian beefs, shrimp fried rice from the best Chinese place, homemade Filipino eggrolls, homemade asian stir fried noodles, Boston Market meatloaf, chicken, AND spiced apples. banana fritters. fudge. and a jello cake. and soda.

I wont be eating again until tomorrow, 'k?

today has been so draggy.... my colleague has been bothering me the whole day... ahhhhh..make him disappear!!!

guess one thing good abt today is that fact that me and my girlfriend went for dinner and we had nice shanghainese food.. not expensive but affordable..feels nice... but there goes the diet plans..
