Yep, just glanced at my window and there is a bunch of white stuff coming down. It's cold enough to stay but I truly hope that it doesn't as I haven't finished taking pics of the beautiful colours of the leaves yet!

The weird thing is the temperature is only 39 F outside right now. It's supposed to go down to 32 F or lower tonight.

Sorry forgot to mention, we also had snow last night but when I woke up it was all gone!

My son says they got snow up in Northern Michigan too. We really need it here in Utah but I think it will be a while. It's still 88-89 F here lately!

Well I woke up to snow this morning and it has been snowing on and off all day. You want to talk about snow - we get snow. We get snow banks so high that you can't even see the front of some peoples houses. We have expert snow removal people though, so you rarely get to stay home. People come from all over the country to take advantage of our snow - snowmobilers, skiers, snow shoers - you name it. Located right on Lake Superior - you hear those dreaded words "lake effect snow today".

I'm one of those poor foreigners...with a dumb question.

Exactly where is Port Cunnington???? Is it way up in the northern part of Canada somewhere????

Nora, you must live in northern Michigan...right?????

It's only October 1st, don't you guys think it's way too early for snow?

Hedi, if we get anywhere near as much snow as we're supposed to this year I should be able to get some good pictures to show you! I don't have a digital camera yet, but hopefully soon...

It's funny listening to everyone else talking about snow and not having any - usually Minnesota is right in there with everyone else as soon as it starts. Everyone I know who lives in the southern US thinks I'm crazy to live up here, but I love it!

Suzy and thats why we are all diferend
. I think that is great that you like the cold , that means you are in the right place
When I look at me , well I like it warm so I am also at the right place
. I knew a lot of germans , they come to Ga. and hate it from day one . My sister in germany she like snow and the winter time . She goes over the christmas till new year to the black forest in switzeland (sp) on ski vacation . If I just think about winter vacation I get a ice cupe on my nose
