Just wanted to pop in and say hello to everyone, and introduce you to the cats I'll be mentioning more often than not! :p

I'm the proud pet owner of two furbabies, Scratcher James and Princess Ally.

Scratcher is a 17, nearly 18, year old orange tabby cat.  We had just moved into the neighborhood from a small apartment, and my brother and I brought this matted up, tiny kitten home and begged our parents to let us keep him.  He was unfamiliar to people at first, so with two kids constantly picking him up, he got frustrated and scratched the heck out of my brothers and I - hence his name.  He's our little buddy, who loves to follow us around and carry on conversations.  There are times when his meows sound like he's saying "hello???"

Ally is our adopted girl that has earned her nickname, Princess Ally.  She was two to three years old when we adopted her from the humane society, so she'd be about 5-6 now.  The people at the shelter told us that she is a Domestic Short Hair tortie.  The most unique thing about her is her eyes - two different colors.  She is mostly, if not completely, blind in the orange eye, but it doesn't slow her down at all.

Welcome. Odd-eye torties are fairly rare. She is a beautiful cat, and I hope you have her many years. Scratcher sounds like quite a character.
