How To Introduce New Puppy To Resident Cats

Hi Everyone,

I posted this question in behavior forum and haven't gotten any responses.I thought maybe this would be the better forum to post.

I have a 1 1/2 year old male kitty and a 4 month old male kitten. It only took 3 days for my kitties introductions and they bonded easily.

I'm adopting a new puppy next week.. a mixed toy breed. I know about cat to cat introductions but not much about dog to cat.

Please please does anyone have any suggestions/tips on how to do this.

I adopted my pup on Monday and everything's fine. Introduction was MUCH easier than cat to cat. Some sniffing and only one hiss out of my cat when pup tried to eat his food.yikes.

I think my pup is going to grow up thinking she's part cat LOL. The only thing right now that I have to watch out for is that my kitten wants to play with pup like a kitten ..wrestling etc..
