Oh, how cute.  Thank you for rescuing these babies.  Any idea where the Mom is?

I think these foods are fine for now; dry food is never 'required'.

Have they been to the vets yet?  They may have worms, which may affect their weight (and feces).

I would say avoid dried food, it's completely unnatural for a cat, just keep trying the smelliest of foods you can, mine actually preferred the supermarket brands rather than the top end veterinary brands, remember it doesn't need to be kitten food either, we didn't have it years ago and cats were as healthy then as they are now.....

I agree wet is much better than dry cat food.

And it is true what spuddytat says, decent wet is so much better, it is by itself at least as good as dry kitten food...

The about only reason to teach them eat dry, is so they know what it is.  If their adopters are only for dry.  Or if you adopt them yourself, but must leave them at a boarding hotell some time...

But main food should be wet, canned cat food.  (or Raw, if you wish so, but it is another story).

Tx for  helping these two small brethren of ours!

  Good luck!
