Hello! From the Seven of us!Lit

To start with my name's Taylor, I live with my boyfriend and our six cats. What started with two cats, Rascal the boy and Ryu the girl became six because we were both very misinformed about when it's best to get a cat fixed. So now our nearly pure white cat Ryu is mother to 4 little kittens all of whom are very sweet and loving. Rascal the father is white patches of orange on him. The children are Littlefoot, Garfield, Gizmo, and Mr.Bubbles. Littlefoot and Gizmo are both colored like Rascal, but Littlefoot (the only girl) is fluffy like mama and Gizmo is a shorthair like Rascal. Garfield somehow came out all orange and short haired, but instead of thick fur like Rascal he has thin fur like Ryu. Mr.Bubbles is mama Ryu's copy except not fluffy and very thick fur. They're all sweethearts but each has their own perk. Gizmo is hyper and loves to roughhouse. Garfield is very sweet and loving and usually just wants to cuddle. Littlefoot is a sweetie and seems to only want to cuddle, until you realize that she only wants to cuddle when you have food so she can steal it or when she's sleepy and wants to leech warmth off of you. Mr.Bubbles is a bit of a "wild child" he's very distrusting. When they first started walking there was a small accident and one of the cats knocked over a collectors toy motorcycle and it hit him. He's warming up to my boyfriend and I though even coming up to cuddle with us every now and then.

The parents are a little over a year old, I think Ryu's older by a few weeks though. We found them left outside one morning just after a thunderstorm when Rascal was still barely weaned. (Poor guy kept trying to suckle my finger, we finished weaning him though =) ) They weren't really trusting of us for a while but now both of them simply love us. Ryu loves to cuddle and be petted, her nickname is "Pretty Kitty" and Rascal...well he really does live up to his name, but he enjoys cuddling just as much as Ryu! They both still though are terribly afraid of thunderstorms but they're all sweethearts and Rascal even helps Ryu take care of the kittens.

It's so lovely to hear about abandoned cats finding loving homes...

I guess Rascal and Ryu won't be having any more kittens now that you found out the hard way about desexing..

Nope, not having any more, least I hope not. I'm hoping he didn't get her when we weren't able to stop him. We're keeping these four, but I went through a lot to keep them alive, I couldn't get rid of them but if Ryu is somehow pregnant again then we're giving the next litter to some good homes if we can find them. I don't trust many people so I'd have to extensively check them out before giving them one of my purr babies.

Thanks, after what I went through to keep them alive well it was hard to not just fall completely in love with them lol. And thanks, it is nice to meet you too =)

Hi there welcome along to TCS

awee what a warming story. i had the same experience with 9 puppies, not a dog person and not my dog -.- 

yet i was up at the crack of dawn and sleeping just barely by 12 just to care for these puppies because the mother had a rare pregnancy decease that only dogs 1 and under can get. lets just say its to gross to talk about and in simple words her breast milk was toxic. and just like u said u tend to fall in love with the lil furballs u tend to just to keep alive. havnt had any kittens yet well not birthed kittens yet ):

When I actually manage to get them to hold still there will be pictures! Thanks, it really sounds like you had your hands full with all those puppies! You do just get so in love with them!
