About a week ago my Mom's cat's back right leg just stopped working properly. For about 5 mins she ran around and it looked like she couldn't put weight on it but she was trying to run around on it. It was hard to tell if the problem was in the lower leg or up at the hip.
Anyway, after 5 mins or so she was back to normal so we put it down to cramp or something. We did check all through her paws and legs to make sure she didn't have a bit of glass or something stuck.
This has since happened again twice and of course we are starting to worry.
It appears to be just that one leg and after she has ran around a while (she won't let you hold her still) she seems totally normal again and is able to run, jump and move completely normally.
Anyone experienced anything like this or have any advice? As most of the time there is nothing wrong with her it could be tough for a vet to find an issue.
