You should get some information from the Vet before they release her back into your care.  I imagine she'll be pretty wobbly when you first get her back, and sleep most of the day, but you never know.  She may or may not have an elizabethan collar on.. just depends on the Vet and the cat.

that all goes well.  It certainly should as this is one of the most common surgeries around, but I know it's still hard not to worry.

Thanks! I am not going to be able to get info because I have to work and my brother is picking her up, that is why I am asking here. I am so nervous!

My Khaleesi was spayed yesterday and she was a tropper! She complained and had more complications (pooped everywhere in her carrier) on the way their than she did post-op!

When i got her, she was awake and wobbly. I took her back to work with me and she only cried a tiny bit before settling down and falling asleep the rest of the time I was in the office. As soon as we got home, I let Kaylee see her and Khaleesi acted as if she had nothing done to her! She ate her dinner, drank water, and even tried to a play a little.

Good mojo for your baby being sent :)

Well, have your brother ask if anything special needs to be done.  But based on the above post, I'm guessing not.
