The great and powerful Ollie (as I now call him), Is four weeks old now. He was 95% black when I brought him home last week, with a few white paws and toes, now he's turning white in places and his fur is unusual, where he's turning white, he has black tips. Like the new fur coming in is white but the ends of it are still black. I knew kittens eyes would change colors. His baby blues are more gray now, but fur? I can hardly believe he's the same kitten.  When he's in the sun you can really see the white in his fur, inside he looks more gray in those places. Is he going to turn white or gray or maybe be all three colors?

Also on another subject. Weaning tips. Anyone have any? He's voracious on the bottle, I know it's not filling his tummy anymore but he's not getting the wet food or drinking from a dish thing yet.

I have no advice but to offer, but OMG, Ollie is so cute. I want to kiss his face and rub his belly.

Thank you vball. I sure think so too.
He's sooo tiny, but getting very rambunctious now. He's snooping all over but he's so little I'm afraid to lose sight of him, if he finds a corner to hide in I'll never find him.

His fur is so unusual, it looks different colors depending on how the light hits it. I've never heard of a cat changing color.

I think it is called for smoke as now.  Unless it changes even more.   :)

You can begin to try with wet food now.  Alternatively you can begin with baby food.

Gerber nr 1, chicken, no onion, as I remember the tip. Sounds it familiar?

Mince meat is also classical for kittens.

Be sure his litter is non clumping.

Good luck!
