Hello there, my name is Nikoleeee. I have never really had an interest in cats till my mother and I found a stray, 12 week old kitty. After having her for 2 months, as an indoor/outdoor cat, Barney got pregnant. She later popped out four kittens, two of which we kept. Their names are Ozzie (king of the forest) and Mili (T.Mills, Million). They are indoor kitties. I have been researching information on kittens and how to properly take care of them. Although I have mastered some lessons on this kitty adventure, I still could use some help. If anyone has any advice on taking care of 12 week old kittens, PM me!

P.S.

My 13 year old chihuahua recently passed away, it has been very difficult for me...since I've never had to deal with a pet death...We grew up together(since I was 3 we have had her...). Just felt like sharing.

Welcome to the site Nikole! :wavey:

Your kitties sound adorable. Have you had Barney spayed so she doesn't have anymore kitten. There are many low cost clinics if she and the kittens still needs to be fixed. I suggest you take a look around the forums and post any questions you have about the kittens.

Hi Nikole, welcome to TCS :wavey:
Sorry for your loss :hugs:

The first thing I will ask..... Has the mom been spayed? Poor thing was just a baby herself when she got pregnant - she is still a kitten..... and she already has kittens :bawling:
Please, make sure you spay her ASAP, and make sure the other babies are spayed and neutered immediately too - at 12 weeks they are ready.....

Is mom inside too? Or is she inside outside? I see the kittens are inside - what about mom? If she is not spayed, please, please make sure she is inside and has absolute no access to any males. She WILL get pregnant again.

What are they eating? What kind of questions do you have?
