Hello everyone!!! My name is Aly and I currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina. I am so excited to finally be on the site and to be engaging with fellow cat lovers and cat advocates! I currently have four fur babies and am going to school to be a zoologist and am striving to work with cats, both big and small, exotic and domestic, but would like to specialize in working with cheetahs.
I hope that with the feedback and support from the community, I will be able to get my plans of constructing a sanctuary, similar to "The Cat House in Kings" in Parlier, California, here in North Carolina. Unfortunately, there have been no laws passed about banning gas chambers as a source of "making room for the shelter" and I am planning on putting a stop to that, or at least giving these animals a safe haven to call home.
