i brought her home because i didnt want to see anything bad happen to her. I have a cat already, but i have a few questions. I bought kitten milk for her because i wasnt sure if she could eat dry food yet or not. or maybe another type of cat food. and ideas? I plan on taking her to the vet to make sure she is healthy and all. She is very playful and loving. If anyone could give me some advice or some tips on how to take care of her better and make sure she stays healthy please do! thank you! here is a picture of her also

Oh thank you so much for rescuing this cutie.  Are you planning on keeping her/him?  Here is an article about hand raising a kitten.

You could feeding her kitten canned food mixed with some kitten (KMR) milk.  You want to make it almost soup  like; she'd normally still be nusring some.

Dry food isn't good for kittens or cats so still with wet food.

Is she peeing/pooping yet?

She may need help using a litter box.  Get a really shallow box/container and put litter and perhaps some sand in it.

She should certainly be checked by the vet before introducing her to your resident cat.  The resident cat will teach her how to be a kitten.

Let us know how it is going!

How wonderful for you bringing this little one home.

I believe she is a bit older than 4 weeks, not by much, but just by seeing the pic and how she is positioned at the dish, she has to be at least 5 weeks, likely closer to 6.

If you describe how she uses her food dish I can get closer to actual age.

She does need to be de-flead, this will cause anemia in young kittens and they will not be able to thrive.

Dewormer, flea treatment, kmr and canned kitten to start.

Babycat by Royal Canin is excellent, teeny tiny bites, full of all the nutrition needed for growth and development.

I second getting her checked out by a vet before introductions with your resident cat. Have her tested for infectious diseases, parasites, etc.

Cute kitten.
