The pet told me he should have them every 6 months. Also my previous vets.I think we might need more information. I, personally, have NEVER given my cats any deworming pills. Why do you have them in the first place. I guessing your cat had worms at one time or another? Does he/she go outside? Do you live in an area infested with fleas/ticks/mosquitoes?
Hmmm.I have never given them to my cats and wouldn't unless there was a specific reason to do so. If they don't have worms and aren't exposed to catching them, then they don't need to be regularly dosed.
No, I didn't actually.Maybe it would be better if we asked you WHICH kind of worm this dewormer is for, then we might be better able to answer your question
Also, didn't your Vet(s) explain to you why they felt it was necessary. If two of them have recommended it, there must be a reason. Perhaps this is for heartworm, which is carried by mosquitoes. Do you live in a heavily infested mosquito area? If your furbaby goes outside, no matter how clean an environment, you probably cannot keep all mosquitoes at bay, can you? I'm just taking wild stabs at why here...probably should just wait until you respond
