Racoons

A few weeks ago a family of Racoons started showing up on my deck for dinner. Will they bother my cats? My cats seem to be leary of them and someone told me once that racoons have been known to kill cats.

Racoons will kill cats. I would only feed the cats during daylight hours and bring in all food until morning.

My daughter gave me a kitten (she is three now)who was born in the field behind her house. A week after I got her a racoon killed the mother and the other kittens.

That's horrible. Over the years I have had a lot of my ferals just disappear. I wonder if that's what been happening to them.
