Our cat CJ is older with some health problems. He urinates outside the box. We got both the diffuser and collar. Since we put the collar on him he has been acting aggressively and is hissing a lot. Is this dangerous to him or is it because he's not used to having a collar?

It is probably because he is not used to a collar. If it is a Feliway collar, it shouldn't be dangerous to him.

Feliway has a collar-type product? I didn't know! I know Sentry makes a calming collar... Is it a different product?

Comfort Zone does not make a collar. I believe the term Feliway is being used in a broad sense to describe any type of pheromone type product.

Thank you for that information. I have never used any pheromone product and am totally ignorant of the brands. Yes, I do tell people to use Feliway diffusers, only because of the success many here have had with them.
