Hi folks,
A little about me (as a person) -
I'm 27, female, work full time at a corporate job, graduating with my Master's in Management at the end of the month. I live in Maine with my boyfriend of 4 years (we'll probably get married someday!)
We have 3 animals:
- Olive (2 yr old dog, female, lab/shepherd rescue)
- Kitty (6 yr old cat, female, DSH, very independent; my boyfriend's cat)
- Toby (12 week old, male, Maine Coon/DMH)
My focus here is mostly for Toby.
I had a cat prior to Toby (another Maine Coon mix), but I lost him at 6 years old to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in 2011.
My interests here are mostly in cat nutrition -- I raised Olive (the dog) on raw, and now I'm raising Toby on raw too. I had first heard about raw diet for cats back in 2009 with my first cat, but he was not interested in converting so I'm excited to have a kitten who will readily accept almost anything as food.
Toby is fed Hare Today ground meat/bone/organ mixes with Alnutrin, "frankenprey" (chicken, beef - whatever I can find at the store), raw chicken hearts, and fish oil.
