Kittens with watery eyes

Hi! I am new to cats/kittens and hoping someone can help me out! We have 5 kittens that are about 10 days old and are just starting to open their eyes (over the last day or two). I've kept it pretty dark in our bedroom (which is where momma moved them to the day after they were born), until this evening when my hubby and I were doing our daily weigh-in. I noticed that a few of the kittens eyes seemed watery. I did a little reading through old threads, and found several that said thin, clear, watery discharge was normal when kittens first start to open their eyes. I also read a few that mentioned eye discharge and sneezing as a bad combo. After reading that, I do remember hearing a few small sneezes every once in a while from the kittens. I am wondering if I should be concerned? I will say that both momma and kittens have all been to the vet this week and had good check-ups...but that was before their eyes opened. Momma cat sneezes every once in a while, but the vet did blood work (not just because of the sneezing) and said he didn't see any trace of any infection and it was probably just dust from the litter box or allergies.

So should I take the kittens back to the vet or is this just a combination of normal brand new eyes watering and normal kitty allergy sneezing? I ask because I've already spent $150+ on vet bills this week, and my hubby would prefer me not add to that unless it is absolutely necessary (momma cat is a stray that "adopted" us a few weeks into her pregnancy, and while she's quickly becoming a member of the family, money is kinda tight and my hubby still looks at it as "we're spending a lot of money on a stray cat" even though we do plan on keeping her even after we find adopters for the kittens.). 1.  As paying patient, you can always phone the vet and ask, especielly in a errand you were to him for.

Thus, you dont need to pay extra now, unless he wants to see them of course.  IF he does, you will make your decision then.

It seems for me a little peculiar he mentions allergy, they arent so common.  But if the litter is much dusty (being non clumping I presume it may be dusty), yes they may sneeze because of the dusty litter.  Although, if they DO have allergy, so watery discharge is of course common. That is why I do get, even if I dont have real allergy.

Thanks! I checked their eyes again today, and they look much less watery and there is no "crud" or goop on their eyelids, either. I spent a good bit of time in the room with them last night and this morning, too, and didn't notice any more sneezes. I'm hoping it was just that reading a few too many posts got the best of my kitty-newbie nerves!
