Well I'm a really big cat lover was born around cats had them all my life since I was little girl, I'm in only child so my older siblings had cats of there own. So not only I was born around but I been surrounded with cats. I entered High school my sophomore years adopted an female Turkish angora they most sweetest beautiful thing you ever see. Had her for three years spoiled her made sure she ate right, and even taught her how to dance. Well senior year second semester in the mouth of may found out he had feline leukemia took really good care of her made sure wasn't stressed, kept a close eye on her. She was doing great for long time even long after I graduated which was in June 2003. Well after I graduated and summer came along I got really busy and started neglecting her little well that became a lot and well she ended up dieing. And let me just say this losing my only cat that I loved and bonded with was really hard and painful and there are no words that can describe how I felt about neglecting and her death. Well moving on after that I made the decision that I was not going to have anymore cats since my life was becoming unstable. Time goes by a lot and it's now been 10 years I haven't had a cat and that's been pretty hard me especially for a cat lover. Well now I'm on the more stable side now, more serious about life and beyond. So now I'm in a stable long term commented relationship been together for 5 years now and also living him and his parents for also 5 years. Let me make this easy for you his parents don't like cats at all. John my fiancee there son loves cats just like me, when he was a little boy his mom let him keep one kitten but that's a different story another time.Since I been living on a nice street where there a lot stray cats. I been wanting one but of course I respect his parents rules plus not enough funds to have cat this was two years ago. Well now in November  2012 his parents went on vacation to Italy. That same month I found two male kittens behind some trash cans and they were so skinny and fragile we took them in John told his parents and they were OK with "through the phone". Well they been gone for four month now since November and we had the cats for that long time also and I've gr owned attached to them. and so had John also. So when they got home it has been different there not aloud in the living room and kitchen and the only aloud in the garage beside staying in our room all day.

Some body please help tell me if I'm doing anything wrong or if this is animal abuse.

That's felix

And the strip one is pussy john named him

I don't see anything here that qualifies as cat abuse. Unfortunately, in their home, they can make the rules. Thank you for taking in the cats and caring for them. The home and conditions they now have is better than if they were living in the wild.

Thank you that made me feel little better
, since I was stressing out because they have to be in the room of the day, well mostly napping. I would never what to do any harm to my feline family nor put them in any harm, heck if was my house I would let them roam where ever they like. Well practically did well his parents were in Italy, but it's not my house and I'm just happy
that I actually got to have them. That all I wanted to Christmas and for my birthday were my two handsome boys

. So thank you again for the positive reply.

Have Felix and Pussy been neutered? If not, please do so soon. You don't want them to start spraying and give John's parents a reason to make you get rid of them.
