For the owner or for the cat? If for the owner, a cat themed picture frame, or note pad. Something like that. If for the cat, catnip, or a small stuffed toy.

I know you have bought something already, but I'd like to weigh in on a thought.
I know for me, that being owned by cats doesn't define me.Yes, I do love cats, but I also cringe when the first thing that comes to someone's mind because I like cats, is to get me cat related/themed gifts. Cats interest me, but they aren't my only interest or love in life.

I love cat gifts. My Secret Santa here a few years ago sent a note pad set with cats on it and it included a pen and what not. DH knows he's not to use that set!
Petsmart has some cute little gift things. Gift books, magnets and things like that. Just don't get me one of those iron on applique sweatshirts!

I love cat-themed art.. has to be home made by an artist, no factory made stuff. Carvings, paintings, drawings, sculptures.. love them!
But I agree.. i won't wear any cat-related shirts! (just socks. I have cat themed socks.)
