Hi, I'm new to this site and I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Spencer =]  I lost a cat around 3 weeks ago, I live on the second floor of an apartment building and I'm guessing she jumped from the balcony to the ground outside, my roommate and I couldn't find her for weeks, we found her this morning and brought her in but she is veeerry skinny and has a few cuts and scrapes, my question is, what should we do to make sure she is okay, we bathed her and brushed her but we're not sure what to do next, thank you

I would take her for a vet visit. If she isn't spayed, she's most likely pregnant. You'll have to decide what to do then - spay now or wait until the kittens are born and spay then. Talk to your vet about testing for FIV and FELV, too. If she hasn't had her shots, you need to do that too.

If you don't want to take her to the vet, give them a call. They say say that since she's spayed and up to date in her shots (if she is) there's little to worry about, give advice for what do do about the scrapes, and what to look for that will indicate she needs to come in and see them. But I do agree that a vet visit is probably ideal.

Feed her wet food, as she is most likely dehydrated.  Cats do not generally drink enough water on their own because they are natural predators and they would normally get their moisture from their kills.  It's literally in their biological design.  So wet food would be best.

Vet visit for sure.  You don't know if she got pregnant or maybe picked up any illnesses while she was out.
