Hello everyone. My name is Susan. I  recently found 2 kittens on separate occasions. I am keeping the first kitten I found but I can't keep the other kitten. I am a student living with my boyfriend and he already has a cat. I am looking for a caring home for the second kitten. I found her alone, meowing, and hyperventilating. It seemed to be overheating. After cooling the kitten down and cleaning her up, I noticed no problems with the kitten. She looks healthy. No stuff in her eyes or nose, no diarrhea, no sore throat, healthy fur and healthy weight. She's already really friendly, doesn't bite or scratch. She got along very well with my kitten at home, they played a little.

Description of the one  kitten up for adoption:
  • Female, about 6-7 weeks old
  • Very healthy looking, healthy weight, and full of energy
  • Black back and tail, white paws, chin and belly
  • Very adorable
  • Hazel/brownish eyes
  • Easy to handle, very submissive, loves the company of other kittens, and easy for people and other pets to get along with.
  • Has teeth and able to eat dry or wet food, doesn't need milk anymore
  • Has not been spayed, hasn't received any vaccination
  • Located in NYC, Brooklyn
If anyone is interested in adopting this kitten, please PM me. . I would prefer it if you are in NYC or in a state near NYC or can travel to NYC. If you have any questions about the kitten and is interested in adopting her, let me know. Thank you for your time.

Unfortunately, this forum is not really one for trying to adopt kitties out.  It's more for helping people who are having trouble with other kinds of issues.

For trying to find homes for cats that have found you, you might try contacting local shelters, vet's offices, even local pet stores.  But whatever you do, please don't advertise "free kitten" on Craig's list.  People who get free kittens don't always take very good care of them, and sometimes do terrible things with them

In the meantime, thank you for taking this little baby in and taking care of it while trying to find it a home.
