I am very excited to get this precious little girl in 4 weeks she is 6 weeks old now and so cute. I've named her mittins because of her cute little paws, any advice is welcome on helping her adjust to her new surrounding and family :)

She is adorable.  Looks a bit small for 6 weeks but may be the angle.

First thing first make appointment for her with a vet-if you do not have one start reading review now.  nothing fancy just an exam/deworming and some basic shots.  You will map out her next few visits and make appointment for her spay-if vet charges alot you can look into clinics now as many will do kittens as young as 8 weeks or 2 lbs.  They can get pregnant VERY early.

Decide on a good quality kitten food and gather some supplies so when she comes home everything is already waiting for her.  A good scratching post is a must to avoid issues with carpet/furniture.  If no other kittens in house(always great to take 2 so they have a buddy! as they are insanely energetic) get PLENTY of toys.  Wand toys/laser pointers to interact with her/wear her out.

Be sure to handle her all over. Touch her paws, ears, tail, etc, to get her used to being handled by humans. This will make it easier to trim her nails, take her to the vet, give her pills, and so on.

Thanks for all the advice :) I've been nervous to get another animal because my big boy Ringo was a tough one to see pass :( he was an indoor outdoor cat, our neighbor at the time didn't like that at all. He came home one day VERY sick me and my mom took him to the vet, they told us he had gotten into some yard poison of sorts and that he wasn't going to make it :'( he asked if we wanted to put him down there or take him home with pain meds so he could be comfortable, we brought him home and he curled up next to me in bed and when I woke up he was gone, we found out our old neighbor had put some cat food out with that poison in it about 2 weeks after he passed. I haven't had a cat since. But mittins has already stolen my heart and I'm ready to give it another shot I want to give her a good home and let her live a long healthy life :)

That's horrible, Megan! What a horrific way to lose a pet, which is always painful under the "best" of circumstances. I am so sorry you went through that.

Oh golly, what a terrible thing to happen.  You must have been devastated!

So glad you can heal from that and give your new little girl so much love and a wonderful life..
