new cat mommy, totally new to the cat world :)

Hello! Im brand new to the cat world as I have just rescued a pregnant mommy kitty. I fell in love with her as soon as I seen her in our yard. She is super young, malnourished and from what im told about to give birth in a few weeks. Im trying to make her as comfy and healthy as I can before she has her kittens. We have decided to name her Pretty. She has the prettiest green eyes ive ever seen. She is loved and already spoiled by our family. Even our dog Smooch is already loving on her

Welcome to TCS! You have just earned your place in heaven. Cat heaven, at least.

Have you taken her to the vet? She should have a preliminary checkup, but be sure the vet knows you think she is pregnant. There are medications and vaccinations she should not have at this time.

She has not seen the vet yet, but I plan on making her an appt tomorrow. Shes definitely prego tho. Her belly is pretty big and we can feel her babies moving I love it. She sits in my lap and I keep my hand on her little belly. Such a neat feeling!

Congrats! She looks a bit like my Gracie, who we just acquired in March. Keep us posted!
