.....you wake up and think you are paralyzed due to the number of cats on/beside your legs.

I couldn't move all night long. I had Sugarly between my legs, Merlin on one side and Gweeky on the other. Pepperpot spend some time on my hip. Fortunately the chunky boy Excalibur like sleeping on his own. At least my legs were woarm. It is a good thing that I don't toss and turn at night - I wouldn't want to kick a cat! My house was at 61 F this morning - it was nippy. Hubby refuses to turn on the heaters until mid-end of October. I had to wear my Eeyore slippers this morning!

I know what you are talking about. I have had an extra cuddly cat since the temps have taken a dip. It was even colder here (I have my temp set at 60 F and the heat came on). The are expecting snow mixed with rane here for the next few days.

The color on the trees is gorgeous though.

Oh I can relate to that too, I was paralysed by Peedoodle - who does not normally sleep that close to either of us!

The temp this morning right now is 39!!!!

Movin' on up!
At 5:30, this morning, I was sitting on the patio, in a nightshirt! We are still running the cooler and ceiling fans, all night.

I know it's getting colder at night because Jimmy meows to be let in at about 3am every morning. I wouldn't mind so much if it was just a nice gentle meow, but for some reason, he seems to think if he pretends he's in agony, I'll let him in quicker. I reckon the noise he makes must wake up half the neighbourhood!!

It is cooling off outside. Good-bye Summer; enter, Fall. We have officially turned off our AC. The heat isn't on, either, though. We're in that nice time of year when the temperature is fine as-is.

I don't mind the cats on the bed, except last night, when Bailey came in. He cleared out the room- he had a run in with the skunk! PHEW!!! I am going to trap that skunk tonight and cart it off into the woods . I can't take this anymore

I call it sleeping in a mummy sleeping bag!!!

I can relate. In my house, I have to prop an extra pillow behind my head so Bogart can sleep on it and rest his head in my hair. So....my mummy bag comes up over my head!! LOL

Same here! Buddy, Zebra and Pepper have started RUNNING to try to get to their fav position
(all likes one place). Their fav place is between my legs, there's only enough space for ONE cat so the 2 "losers" would have to either sleep further down near my feet, on my stomach, chest or on my sides between my arms and body. Spike sometimes will sleep near my neck but sometimes he sleeps alone in a corner of my bed..

Recently I woke up and felt like I was on a cross cuz one cat was sleeping on my left side between my arm and body while 2nd cat slept on my right side between arm and body, 3rd and 4th cats were sleeping between my legs so all my limbs were spread wide!
Sure felt SORE when I first moved after being in that position all nite!

One thing that bothers me though is when one cat wants a particular position that is already taken, he or she would start walking all over my body to try to either move the other cat or find another position CLOSE to that position therefore waking me up WHILE THEY go to sleep!

LoL, I sleep on my tummy, and Socks sleeps on my lower back... hehe, sometimes I really hurt in the morning from sleeping like that, but I can't make her move, lol.

It's funny, now that it's colder, our windows are covered in condensation in the morning (the seals are gone in them) and Socks tries to save us from the big bad condensation monster by licking it off...

I know what you mean.I have 8 cats inside and when they all decide to get in the bed it gets a little crowded.
