281.5 :p!!!

Walks and no pure junk(tastycake/cookies) in house is helping for sure.

Thanks, Pat! That really put things into perspective. I'm definitely going to keep trying.Congratulations to everyone for the hard work this week!As for me, I lost 0.4 lbs. this week. I tried swimming, but I'm so out of shape that it was kind of silly. I'm going to keep trying that, too, because I miss being able to swim. Now it's time for me to go pick up my cat from the vet!

Congrats to those of you that lost and keep trying and hang in there to those who gained. I'm back after being away on vacation for a little over the week and I think I am up 5-6 lbs. We'll see how much of that is water weight from eating out every day.

I am sitting here eating a salad:)  2 tomatoes in it.  Bought tomatoes from BJ's and oh my they smell so wonderful.  Had a salad yesterday with 2 tomatoes too!  OK I know the dressing is not the best but this HAS to beat the oreos.

Not sure if a walk will happen as next few days have thunder in forecast.  If humidity gets better and not to close a storm I will go when it gets dark(I hate the sun, headache inducer)

Tammat,

Well I went to my doctors appointment and I am down 3 more pounds! I now weigh 206. I hope this thread never closes cause I want to report me getting down to 135 / 140 in the next few months to come.

Congratulations...please don't be disappointed if it takes more than a few months, I'd expect at least 6-8 months (but I am a slower loser than many).

Thanks Pat.  The doctor scale says I'm losing weight and I see the numbers but I just don't see it on me.

I know it will take time. Some days I don't eat dinner or little bit then have a snack before bed. I'm trying my best..

It's Friday morning. Aside from a cough I feel back to normal health now. I'm happy with the way I look in the mirror these days and I even think there is improvement in my bottom ( trouble area). I'm back to exercising. Plus I've eaten well this week so when my alarm went off I bounded out of bed onto the scales very excited! 10.5 oz gain!!! What?!!!!
That's a bummer but like I said I'm happy and if I hover around this weight then that's great.
I'm wishing you all losses!!! Fingers crossed!! We are all still working at it each day so we are all WINNERS!!
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE:)

Great work, everyone!  Keep it up!

I think I must've lost weight the past week.  I did have a chunk a Wegmans chocolate cake on Monday (we had company, and bought one of their tiny, 2-4 serving cakes). It really was a SMALL piece--and I found the icing to be way too sweet (I used to like it), and I scraped it off. I did have a couple of tablespoons of chocolate mint chip ice cream with it, but only because I had a bad sinus headache, and the mint helps.  I woke up with a cold today, and a very sore throat, so I subbed it for my lunchtime yogurt--it felt so good in my throat. We had meatball sandwiches on Monday, but I only had a small portion.

Today, I noticed that my beloved long silk/wool scarves/shawls hang at least 1" further down--in other words, my shoulders and neck have lost weight! I've had them for a few years, and wear them a lot in cold weather (I was cold due to being sick today). I always felt like a linebacker in them, due to my broad shoulders, though people often compliment me with them.

On the downside, I now have decreased both a number (2") and a cup size in my bras...

But the twins are healthier!!! And you will live longer.  No sense having bigger ones if your not around long!

Good job though!!!  I got a bit of a cold and been drinking warmed up green tea with honey from arizona, not the best but comforting!

Oh, Tammat, I am sorry about the weight gain! But you look good and you KNOW you look good! That's important and, in a lot of ways, more important than what that darn scale says.

Congratulations, ladies....good job!

I lost 2.4 pounds this week; that takes care of the pound I gained a couple weeks ago, plus a bit extra. I really, really tried to watch what I ate, tried to stay away from everything once dinner was over, etc. It was not an easy week for me.

2.6 pounds to GOAL!

So, I forgot to weigh myself while I was still just wearing my nightgown and before eating breakfast, so . . . when I did weigh myself, it was 166.8, which is a weight gain of 2.4 lbs. I seem to be staying around the same weight. I really need to exercise more.

I lost 2 lbs. this past week :)  Congrats to Winchester for being so close to goal!  How marvelous!

To those that saw a swing up - please remember, it's just not a true weight if you aren't doing a 7 day average.  I go up and down most days yet after my average, see what my loss truly is.  It's normal to go up and down a bit :)
