A new London Blue!

Hi Everyone,

I am new on here and am the proud owner of a beautiful Russian Blue. I am interested in getting a Bengal too... does anyone have a pair, do they know how the two breeds get on?

I have two true stories, one from our own experience.

Our "grandchildren" by an norwegian breeder and our stud; were all four supposed to be friendly, sociale kittens. And were happily sold to new homes.  But the breeder mails us horrified, even devastated: one of the buyers has also a bengal kitten which he didnt tell earlier. Poor poor RB girl! Together with such a horrible bengal! What will happen!??  The contract is already written, the first half of the money paid!  It already way beyond the point of no return!

But, after a couple of months did come next mail:  It wasnt as bad as she feared. They kittens did come excellently agree, were best pals, played and chased each other...  

Next true story. This owner of an adult RB hadnt time for him to be a proper owner. But she managed to find a good new home for him.  A woman who had an lively bengal and a female moggie.  This moggie once did adopted the bengal kitten as her own, washed and cared for. But later on the bengal was too lively for this moggie. He wanted to play much more than she... So she got enough, went sour on him and the life as a whole, and did hide from all.  So the situation is this home was really desperate, it was pity about both cats, and especially the older moggie.

Report?  The bengal and the russian did found each other. Played, chased, had hard wrestling matches in best friendship...  And the moggie were now left in peace, and had you seen?  Her natural friendliness returned, she was not longer hiding, and even participated sometimes in some of the calmer play and lick sessions.
