Sadly I am allergic to cats so I am not able to take any cats home. this makes for a tough time because my neighbors feed cats, I think they started out with one or two and then as they fed them other Farrell cats joined in. well there is a mother cat with three kittens, two of them are in great condition but one of them was very skinny so one day I went out side and found the skinny one trapped in the corner of our yard(in that corner there is a wall made out of rubbish). when I got a closer look I realized the kitten had yellowish goo surrounding

its eyes, an even closer look confirmed that it infact was missing an eye ball( the other eye was gooed shut so I had no idea if that one had an eye ball).      when you respond I would like to avoid unuseful comments so remember I have an allergy to cat hair and am only 15

thank you

Can you get your parent(s) to take the kitten to the vets or a shelter?  Or call a rescue group for help, perhaps a trap-neuter-return type of organization.  The mother cat and well kittens need to be spayed/neutered.

At the least, the sick cat needs urgent medical attention because of the missing eyeball (probably sew shut that area).  Otherwise, he will die a painful death. The cat should probably be euthanized unless you know someone who is a cat lover and willing to take on this kitten.

Thanks for caring.

Allergic, in the other thread you said you were waiting to raise $300 to take the kitten to the vet. I wouldn't wait any longer, as it sounds urgent. It may not cost as much as $300, and it's really better not to wait with a situation like this. Will your parents help you? Can you try to look up rescue groups in your area that could help?

If you absolutely can't do it and there's no rescue orgs around you that can help, you can call the local animal shelter and tell them what's happening.
