Thursdays Question of the Day 6.13.13

The weather's been all over the place these days.. rainy, then sunny, then cloudy, cold, hot.. it's not stable enough for me!

My question is.. on a good rainy, thundery day (heavy rain).. what do you like to do?

Read a book with curtains wide open or if tv is getting signal watch something from 70 or 80's.  It is REALLY dark out now and lots of thunder off in distance.  Puppy is taking it on by barking at it and the dog is terrified and laying on floor curled up.

Lay on the couch with the cats and watch TV. Or nap.

Clean!!  I. am. so. weird! 

Seriously; I am my most productive around the house when it's rainy and stormy!  If I'm in on just a cloudy day I wont get half as much done as I might on a rainy day.  Once the house work is done; then I'll read!  

I have to hide in the closet with Henry (dog) and Wendall. :heart3: They both are very frightened of storms. If it is just raining and a lousy day, I will clean :lol3: or watch a good movie.

If there are breaks in the rain I'll stand on my balcony and try to get pictures of the lightning.  If I have to stay inside I try to open my windows as much as I can get by with so I can get the max of the sound of the rain.  Then I'll lay on my bed with the babies and brush them out or get some kitty belly love (belly rubs).  Maybe I'll put on some Andrey Cechelero (new age music) and just do nothing but listen and let all the sounds wash over me and just relax and chill. 

I'd flop down on the sofa with my Nook and a couple of cats and read until I fell asleep.

I'm the exact opposite of Mooch; when it sunny and nice outside, I get up early, throw open all the windows and start cleaning. On stormy days, I'm fine on the sofa with a cat or two or three or......

I love to listen to the rain.

Clean was my initial response. lol. I guess we are both weird. I can't relax if there is a dirty pile or laundry or something staring back at me. Being stuck in the house because of weather only makes it worse. Then I can enjoy the computer, reading, or watching a movie.

Well ladies, it is supposed to be raining until noon tomorrow here, so if you hop a plane now, there is a messy house for you to deal with. :lol3::lol3::lol3:

On a weekend it would be reading or the computer. During the week I feel guilty doing that while my husband is at work, so I find little tasks to do around the house or I save my errands for that day.

I'd whip that place into shape for you. lol. Cleaning is a free form of therapy for me. I guess some people throw things or cry into a pillow. I whip out a scrubbie and go to town. Yes I am crazy. 

My house has been super clean with my partner out of the country. He is not messy so I guess I am just bored.

Oh ignoring chores I can do.  But when it starts raining; it just feels like time to clean!
