hairball control.

I just want to know what food can i mix in with wet diet to control hairball?? i remember i read it somewhere but i forgotten what is the food. is it egg yolk?? if they won't take egg yolk is there any other choice?? i can't comb them as they are stray/community cats.

I give my guys a fish oil capsule.. I pierce one end and squeeze it into their mouths, but that won't really be an option for you... but about a teaspoon of oil.. fish, flax or olive.. may do the trick.

A lot of us on this site use egg yolk lecithin (or raw egg yolks if you cannot source egg yolk lecithin) for hairballs. Lecithin breaks up the fat that binds hairballs together.
