Ok so my stray pregnant cat randomly got uber skinny last couple days. I could feel movement in her belly til a day or so ago. Today she slipped out of her area. She was REALLY grouchy. Hissing, growling, scratching. Especially if i tried to feel her tummy for babies. My boyfriend thinks he felt one. Well i let her lay on my bed & she was scratching it than "peed" on it & my foot. So i moved her to her box. When i cleaned up her mess i noticed it was clear with an odd scent. Not strong and nothing like pee. She kinda chilling in her box currently grooming her entire body. Did her water break? And i dont think ive spotted a mucus plug

sounds almost like behaviour in heat / or even after mating. I suppose it is 1. Lots of pressure in funny places 2. Hormonsurges...
If she wasnt sleeping too we could suspect pains for real, but as she IS sleeping...

Well.... idk if she miscarried or what. No kittens in out apartment. Her nipples are also getting smaller &I feel nothing in her tummy. I also came home to find she got into our living room. Our male was mounting her. I dropped the groceries and went to pull them apart. Her was yowling something fierce smacked moochie than started rolling around like crazy & grooming her who-ha. I locked mooch in another room but woke up this morning to yowling. She pushed the door open. Once again she was rolling and grooming her who-ha the second she got pissed & smacked him off her -_-"
so they succeed with both matings...
Off to the vet you go, as soon as her heat is over. If he is an experienced skilled surgeon you can do it at once, heat or no heat.
Moochie the male can also make this travel.
Unless they are breeding animals used in your breeding programme, of course.
This with no kittens, possibly no pregnancy, happens sometimes. If the kittens got dissolved or got miscarriage in some corner... False pregnancy is also possible (if you dont felt the kittens move that is).
Miscarriage perhaps, and the ex mom is often eating up the aborted foetus. Thus, no traces for the owner to find, and no traces for a predator either. This is my guess here.
