3 days ago (June 10,2013) my grandfather-in-law was walking around his yard and he waved to his neighbor that was plowing down the tall grass in his yard when he couldn't help but hear a feint "meow" in the field of grass. He quickly walked over and searched all over for the meow that he had heard. When he finally found it, it was a tiny white kitten all by its self! He brought it to me, knowing I love cats, and asked me to take care of it. I quickly took up the offer, as I have been looking for a new addition to my little pet family. She seems like a very healthy little kitten and I'd say she is around 3-4 weeks of age due to the teeth she has and to the fact that she is just now learning how to walk right and play.Well, I started off giving her evaporated milk for the first 2 days because I had no money at the time to get kitty milk replacer at the time. She drank just fine.Today, (June 13, 2013) I finally got the KMR and she is continuing to drink great!I have been trying to get little miss Luna to go potty and I stimulated her to go number 1... but I cannot get her to go number 2!!!I have tried the "triangle method"; using a warm, damp wash cloth and massaging lightly near the anal area; soaking her bottom half in luke warm water and massaged around the anal area but NOTHING WORKED! :(I contacted a vet by phone and they recommended that I get a cotton swab and put Vaseline on it and carefully insert it into her rectum; I have tried that about 2 times since then and still nothing..I am tight on money right now and I can't afford vet bills at the moment as I just lost my job.. I have no idea if I am stimulating her wrong or if she just doesn't have to go?! It's been 3 days and all she has done is peed, but no pooping :(I am VERY worried and I am stuck at this point.. HELP! :'(

She needs some sort of medical attention. Contact your local shelter and rescue groups and tell them you found a kitten and are willing to foster her but she needs medical attention. Sometimes vets will also help found kittens so explain the situation to them as well.

Constipation yes.   There is a site about care of orphans, I know they do have some tips about constipation.

www.kitten-rescue.com.

I know some try to have a couple of drops of food oil in their KMR.  Coldpressed Olive oil preferably.

Also, dont get the kmr too thick, diluting it helps some.

Lets hope more folks with good ideas chime in.

Tx for helping this little one, and congrats to your new furry baby!

Good luck!
