Hi, I heard that if a cat's nose is dry then that indicates a cat who isn't feeling well. Have any of you heard of that? Maddie's nose is dry. I just noticed it tonight, but yesterday she threw up, liquid, three times in a row. She seemed fine after she puked and even went back eating. My boyfriend thinks I'm just being paranoid. What do you guys think? If it's still dry tomorrow after work, I'm calling the vet, but just wanted to get a cat site opinion

well, as far as I know, having a wet or dry nose doesnt mean anything. amber will have both depending on what she is doing. but i would take her to the vet right away if she is throwing up. thats not a good thing!

Well, she only threw up yesterday right after eating and afterward seemed fine. She's normal today as well, except for the dry nose thing. Thanks for responding, I wasn't too sure about the nose. I guess it was a myth I heard. I'm going to call tomorrow just to make sure. But I think as long as she hasn't thrown up anymore it was probably just that she ate too fast. I freak out too much concerning my furbabies, but, there's nothing wrong with that, right? Thanks again!

Maybe she's dehydrated from throwing up? Although I've noticed sometimes my cats noses are dry and sometimes they're wet, but they are definately feeling fine.
